A bit about me: early sixties, healthy, widely travelled, hold both Australian and British passports but consider myself an Aussie, live alone (divorced for some years) about 40km south of Melbourne, Victoria. Electronics design engineer covering all aspects of hardware and firmware, these days I mainly do consulting work and endeavour to do as little of that as is necessary, I'm firmly of the opinion that I wish to spend as much as possible of my remaining life enjoying myself rather than working. Money no longer holds much interest for me, I only need enough to pay the bills and I'd rather be in the bush messing around than sitting at a computer or wielding a soldering iron. In addition to playing with radios and antennas I also gold prospect and shoot feral animals. Unfortunately, Australia has a huge number of feral animals which cause considerable damage to our native flora and fauna. In Victoria the main culprits are rabbits, foxes, wild dogs, feral cats and Indian Myna birds - I try to even the score. Gold prospecting (some of the time :) at a secret location in the Gippsland region of Victoria. The blue box is a gas operated fridge/freezer, got to chill the wine! Page last updated April 2017 |
